With Cloud Computing your IT Services (email, word-processing, accounts etc.) are provided over the Internet (aka The Cloud) from highly secure state-of-the-art data centres managed by our partners ThinkGrid.

These are not browser based apps, it's a normal PC, a Virtual PC. Run all your regular applications, customise your desktop, print to your printer at home or in the office.

The Internet connection uses industry-standard SSL encryption (of the type used with online banking) to ensure your security. Virtual servers can be added so you can share data with colleagues even if they are in another office or working from home.

Your virtual PC is ‘hosted’ on a grid of high end servers providing a powerful always available service. Thinkgrid have 6 data centres in the UK, US and Australia. All data centres are constantly mirrored ensuring continuity even in the extremely unlikely event of the complete failure of one centre. This high resilience allows us to guarantee 99.99% availability, backed up by a Service Level Agreement.

This is a fully scalable service. Your IT becomes a utility allowing you to take more or less options as you want, so you only pay for what you need. Email Hosting is available on it's own or as part of the package with an Online Desktop PC. Alternatively just get streamed applications.
